I spent the past week in San Francisco hanging new work and getting ready for the grand opening party of Richmond Rox. If you live in the city you should definitely go check it out, the owner, Nina Tang, is one of the nicest people you'll every meet and the clothes are beautiful, simple, and affordable. She has a knack for picking out clothes that are sexy and cute at the same time.
You'll find Nina at the shop at 3131 Clement St. Thursday-Sunday from noon to 5ish.

I have some new work hanging up at The Observatory on SE Stark and SE 81st. It'll be up till the end of April. Here's a quick peak at some of the pieces in the show.

For those of you who don't already know. I volunteer at a very special place called Golden Rule. It's hard to explain exactly what golden rule is, it's part store, part gallery, part gathering space... Every month the space is gutted and reinvented into a new store that is inspired by the monthly rotating art show. This month's show, An Invitation to Sleep features the art work of Emily Counts, Sally England, Amanda Luna, and Alexis Powell. People can also volunteer to sleep at the store this month and record their dreams in a dream journal that will later be used by Alexis Powell for her art projects. It's really beautiful in here right now. So I wanted to take some pictures and share. It's even more beautiful in person, so if you have the opportunity stop by. The show is up till the 27th of February.

I've been promising myself I would get all this stuff organized and today I finally did.
